    Later this evening at 8PM MDT we will be performing maintenance on our primary SmarterMail server. The maintenance is being performed to complete the installation and addition of our backup system. We expect this to take no longer than 5 minutes to complete, however the SmarterMail system will need additional time to start.

  • TS01-GA Data Center Migration

    We will be migrating our TS01-GA TeamSpeak services to another data-center located in Atlanta. The current host will remain online while we synchronize the 2 servers. Once completed, we will shutdown the old host and bring up the new host. There will be a delay in connecting to the new server (up to 1 hour) for DNS propagation to complete since the IP address of the host will change.

    The new IP of the server is 23.226.236.22. Moving away from our previous data-center will stop the outages related to the data-center routers being constantly under DDOS attacks and other issues related to filtering, high latency, packet loss etc.

    We’d like to thank everyone for their patience during this time while we work to improve our TeamSpeak services in Atlanta.

    UPDATE: The migration has completed. We are seeing improved latency times from various test locations, some locations as much as 15ms less!

  • MX01 SmarterMail Upcoming Scheduled Maintenance

    On Saturday, September 3rd at 10PM MDT we will be performing maintenance on our primary SmarterMail server. The server will be taken offline to replace a failed CPU cooling fan. Replacing the processor cooling fan will take no more than 3 – 5 minutes, the SmarterMail service will need additional time to start up.

  • Level 3 – Denver Network Maintenance

    On Saturday, September 3rd at 10PM MDT we will be performing maintenance on our core router within our Denver, Colorado data center. This maintenance window will affect all servers and services at this location. During this time, all servers and services within our Level 3, Denver data center will be unavailable. We expect this to take no longer than 2 – 3 minutes to complete.

  • WEB13 Storage Migration

    This Saturday, August 13th at 6PM MDT we will be migrating WEB13 to a new storage system that will be able to better withstand SSD drive failures, offer better iSCSI performance and numerous other internal benefits.

    All of WEB13’s Hyper-V instances will be brought down in order to complete the migration of the data. We expect this to take between 4 – 6 hours to complete. This migration applies to WEB13 only and does not affect any other servers or services.

    All Windows web servers will be migrated to these new storage SANs over the next coming months.

    We will be updating our MX01 server to the latest build of SmarterMail on Saturday, July 30th at 8:00PM MDT. We expect the upgrade to take about 30 – 45 minutes.

    We will also be adding in the hardware required for our new external backup system that will be announced soon!

  • MX01 SmarterMail – Emergency Maintenance

    We will be performing emergency maintenance on the MX01 SmarterMail server today at 6PM MDT (12:00AM UTC) in order to replace the failed Power Distributor and get the server back to 100% working order. We expect this to take about an hour (60 minutes). During this time email will not be able to be sent or received.

    Once Power Distributor is replaced, the server will return to full performance as we’ve had to turn down the RAID’s performance as well as throttle the CPU to keep power usage under control as the Power Supply the server is currently running with is undersized.

  • Windows Control Panel Migration

    There will be a brief interruption of our Windows Control Panel system around 11:30AM MDT for about 30 – 60 minutes while we complete the migration of the system to a new server and complete some additional upgrades.

    During this time customers will not be able to access the Windows Control Panel and scheduled tasks will not be executing. Once the migration and upgrades are completed the system will resume normal operations. This maintenance will improve the performance of the control panel system especially when dealing with large files through the file manager.

  • MX01 Emergency Maintenance

    We will be performing and emergency update this evening on our MX01 SmarterMail server at 8PM MST. We expect the update to take about 25 – 30 minutes. This maintenance event will replace tomorrow’s scheduled maintenance for MX01.

    The update addresses issues reported with ActiveSync, a reported issue with the web interface not properly creating contacts when selecting “Add to Contacts” as well as an IMAP migration failure where the dates on all imported messages are set as the current date / time.
