This has been scheduled for May 7th, 2013 between the hours of 4AM and 5AM MST (10AM and 11AM GMT) and will last no longer than 15 minutes. • Replacing hard drives in our Level 3 Datacenter

    No comments April 18th, 2013

Watch our technician replace multiple hard drives in our Level 3 Datacenter. We replace drives in our servers to make sure our servers are always performing at their highest level. Even if the drive has not yet fully failed and is only producing SMART event notifications, we will still replace the drive. Our servers are actively monitored for changes in the RAID array’s state as well as changes in the hard drives state / condition. Technicians are notified which server has thrown the event and which drive is causing the event to be thrown, including the drive’s port, serial number, size, model and other information to find the failed drive quickly and get it replaced with a brand new drive. Once the drive is replaced our internal auditing systems are updated and the RAID array is rebuilt to the new drive.

  • MX01 Emergency Maintenance Restart

    No comments April 12th, 2013

We’ve issued a restart to the SmarterMail service due to monitoring errors and high latency / response times from the HTTP, POP3 and IMAP services. While the server was still online, the high latency / response times from the services could cause issues to users within the webmail interface as well as utilizing the POP3 and IMAP services.

We are in constant contact with the SmarterMail development team at SmarterTools, we will pass this information and all diagnostic logs to them for review so that any issues can be resolved in a later build of SmarterMail.

    Our apologies for the inconvenience!

Thank you for choosing ASPnix as your web hosting provider!
