    We are performing emergency maintenance on the US WEB11 web server. We are working quickly to restore the server to full working order. At this time we do not have an ETA, but technicians are working on the server now. We will update this post with more information as our technicians report to us.

  • SQL Server 2014 Rollout Completed

    We are pleased to announce that all Microsoft SQL Servers have been upgraded from 2008 R2 to the latest 2014 release. This has been a highly requested upgrade, while we did originally plan on doing 2012 we felt it would be better to wait for the 2014 release instead of 2 major upgrades back to back.

    Clients who require the latest build of SQL Server for their applications will be happy to see that we now support the latest build of SQL Server! We’ve already seen major improvements in performance with this release as well as improved stability, memory-optimized tables and much more!

    Please be aware that if you use the Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio client-side application, you will need to upgrade to the 2014 release in order to connect to and manage your databases.

    We will soon be announcing Server 2012 R2 support along with IIS 8.5 for our US data-center shortly!

  • MSSQL01 SQL Server Upgrade (Completed)

    At 8PM MST we will be performing a scheduled upgrade to the MSSQL01 SQL Server service. This upgrade will upgrade the SQL Server installation to 2014. All existing databases will run in their current SQL Server version / mode. We expect that this upgrade will take about 1 hour.

  • MX01 SmarterMail Upcoming Scheduled Maintenance

    We will be performing the SmarterMail v13 upgrading here shortly as well as the migration to our all new cloud-based system which we will be announcing more information about soon!

    We expect this to take about an hour. All email data has already been migrated over to our new system. Once the SmarterMail service is shutdown, we will perform a final synchronization to get any leftovers. The IP address will change on the new server. We already have the system ready to update all IP addresses within our DNS services. If you are one of the few who use or host their own DNS, we will provide the new IP as soon as the migration is completed.

    We do not expect any issues during this migration, everything should go very smooth.

  • Google Wallet Payment Method Retirement

    Google has announced that they will be retiring the Google Wallet for Digital Goods API on March 2nd, 2015. Effective immediately we will no longer accept payments through the Google Wallet payment gateway. We understand for many users this comes as a surprise, it did for us too, however, we do offer additional payment methods. You may complete payments using a credit or debit card, bitcoins or your Coinbase account, Dwolla for US-based customers and PayPal as well as PayPal subscriptions.

  • WEB03-DE Outage (Resolved)

    We are currently working to mitigate a DDOS attack against the WEB03-DE web server. Currently we’ve null-routed the attacked IP as to prevent any further issues. We are working with our network abuse team and our data-center team to get this resolved.

    At this time, we do not have an ETA to the resolution, but we are working hard to get this resolved.

  • WEB03-DE Server Outage (Resolved)

    We are currently working with the technicians in our data-center that provides service for the WEB03-DE web server to help isolate and resolve an outage affecting our services into this location. We have not received specifics from our data-center about the issue that is preventing the server from being accessible.

    We do not have an ETA at this time for when this will be resolved, however as more information comes to us we will update you.

    Update: The report we’ve received has stated that they’ve had a full network failure for multiple nodes throughout their data-center affecting several thousand servers (us being one some of those). We are waiting for them to provide us with an ETA as to when they can resolve this.

    Update 2: We’ve received further information that this should be resolved within the next few hours. We were told around 2PM CET they expect the issues to be resolved. While the issue will be resolved, we still still expect a few hiccups as they tweak all the equipment and finalize the installations of the new network hardware.
