  • Does ASPnix support EWS (Exchange Web Services)?

    2 comments March 1st, 2012 2097

Yes, we have upgraded our Windows SmarterMail mail services to SmarterMail v10 which introduced support for Microsoft’s Exchange Web Services. Exchange Web Services are supported on the following email clients…

    • Apple’s Mail
    • Microsoft Outlook 2011 for Mac OS
    • Microsoft Outlook 2013 (Not supported – Microsoft removed support for Exchange Web Services before it was released due to focus shifting towards ActiveSync support.)

This is a FREE addon that is available to all Windows / SmarterMail hosted clients, domains and email accounts.

  2. At this time we have no details on how to configure this. Office 2013 is still in preview stages and has not been given RTM status. Once Office 2013 is released in full, we will have further details regarding this.

However the “Outlook AutoDisovery” feature in SmarterMail may automatically configure Outlook to use EWS.
