This evening, July 6th at 10PM MDT we will be performing an update to the SmarterMail service on our primary SmarterMail server. We expect this update to take no longer than 30 minutes. This is a general maintenance & bug fix release. Our System Admin team is applying this update earlier than usual to fix a rare issue where emails could be stalled or locked in the spool causing major delivery delays. So far, this bug has only affected a single user’s account.
There are additional bug fixes and improvements in this build. However, at the time of this announcement the full changelogs are not yet available.
During this time, our incoming gateways will process and hold any incoming email and deliver them once we have completed the update.
