We are pleased to announce that we’ve now added PHP 5.5 to our list of supported PHP builds. While PHP 5.5 is still in beta / release candidate stages (RC3 at the time of this post) we feel it has matured enough to where users can test their applications and deploy applications that make use of this new version’s features and abilities. Since this is a separate version of PHP it makes it easier to deploy it without fear of causing harm / instabilities in the other PHP builds.
Please remember though, PHP v5.5 is not yet final, there may be bugs, instabilities, errors and other issues that may cause problems for your web application. Please do not use this version of PHP simply because it is the “latest”. We recommend PHP 5.2 / 5.3 for most applications.
If you have any questions, please contact our support department.
Thank you again for choosing ASPnix!
