Many customers have upgraded to Microsoft Office 2016 only to find out that they cannot delete emails through Outlook. We’ve confirmed the issue with SmarterMail, they’ve been able to reproduce this issue and their developers are working to find the cause and resolve this annoyance.
If you use Outlook currently with IMAP we recommend you do not upgrade to Office / Outlook 2016 until this issue has been resolved. Thank you to everyone who has reported this issue, we will post an announcement once the issue has been resolved.
