Routing issues 11/11/11

Denver, CO, USA

Dear ASPnix customers,

On the 11/11/11 @11:11PM MST (no superstition, just a coincidence) ASPnix has experienced routing issues. This was caused due to recent rapid growth of our company. In the past few weeks we have increased our networking capacity, IP ranges and server clusters. All the recent events caused an overload of our network carrier's router. Due to that, ASPnix has purchased its own powerful Cisco router which opens a door to much bigger growth in the long term. During the transition from carrier's to our own router there were some hiccups. In particular we were communicated some routing information and ports configuration incorrectly. But thanks to our amazing system administrator who did not sleep for 30+ hours and hardworking management, all the issues have been resolved. The new router brings a few advantages to our customers. We are noticing about 5-10% decrease in latency which means your sites will be opening faster and VoIP services such as TeamSpeak 3 will perform even better.

Thank you for your patience and loyalty!
