Due to many network changes – including our new Germany data-center location, we have restructured our host names. Please update your web applications, and client applications to the new hostnames outlined in the article below. Please do this ASAP in order to avoid any service interruptions. This affects SQL Server, MySQL, Mail services (including maillist and our relay services), Web Deploy, IIS Remote Management, Shared SSL, and FTP.

Please review the following KB article for the steps required to obtain your hosting spaces server hostnames. https://aspnix.com/kb/windows-shared-kb/where-can-i-find-my-hosting-account-details-and-server-information. Only the hostnames that your application uses will need to be updated. IE if your application uses MySQL, you will need to update the MySQL hostname to the one outlined in your hosting space overview. The same for SQL Server, Maillist, Outlook etc.

The legacy hostnames will be removed by the end of the month in order to cleanup our services and make sure everyone is using the same settings and server names. If you are a reseller, please inform your customers of this change as well.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support department.

Thank you for choosing ASPnix as your Windows hosting provider!
